A Life of Purpose and Passion
What makes someone decide to become an author? For Michael Ruge, it wasn’t about chasing fame or fortune—it was about sharing what he’d learned with a world that desperately needs both practical wisdom and daily inspiration.
Living on Vancouver Island, surrounded by the natural beauty of Canada’s west coast, Michael has created a life that balances meaningful work with genuine peace. From his lakeside home, he runs All Ways Solutions, offering eco-advisory and business consulting services to companies around the globe. But writing has become his way of reaching even more people with messages that matter.
The Collector of Wisdom
Friends describe Michael as someone who’s always collecting—not things, but experiences, insights, and connections. His extensive world travel for charity causes has exposed him to diverse cultures and perspectives, all of which enrich his writing in subtle but important ways.
When you read ** Ask About Gold **, you’re not just getting economic theory—you’re getting insights shaped by conversations with people from all walks of life. When you explore ** Quote-a-Quote **, you’re benefiting from decades of paying attention to what wise people have said throughout history.
Why He Writes
In interviews, Michael has shared that he writes because he believes ideas matter. The right idea at the right moment can change a life, redirect a career, or even shift how entire communities think about important issues. As an author, he sees himself as a messenger—someone who gathers valuable insights and passes them along to readers who might need them.
There’s something deeply generous about this approach. Michael isn’t writing to prove how smart he is or to make a quick buck. He’s writing because he genuinely believes that understanding gold’s role in preserving wealth, or having access to uplifting quotations, can make people’s lives genuinely better. And honestly? He’s absolutely right.
